If the Divisional chart 60 (D-60) tells us about our past life, can we make a Multiplication chart 60 (M-60) to predict our future life?

In the previous article, I talked about the nature of prediction and different systems of prediction. Let us now try to understand different cycles, from small to big.

The Current Life vs. The Past Life

• Rashi Chart (D-1): This is called D-1. This is where a person is born in this birth.
• Shashtiamsa (D-60): When we divide the Rashi chart into 60 divisions, we get D-60, which tells us about our past lives.

Now, let us call the D-1 chart of this birth as Multiple 60 (M-60). If we can make an M-1 chart from an M-60 chart, we can get our horoscope for our next birth.

The Big Question: Reverse Engineering the Soul’s Map

Can we reverse engineer and convert a D-60 chart to a D-1 chart?

I have a D-60 chart, and I want a D-1 chart. This should be simple. We should follow the same process in reverse order; like we divided the chart earlier, we should combine it now to reach a broad chart from a minute chart.

The Reality: Not so. In fact, it is impossible to make a D-1 chart from a D-60 chart.

1. The Big Map vs. The Super-Microscope 🔬

Think of your D-1 Chart (Rashi Chart) as a giant map of your whole life. It shows the mountains, the rivers, and the cities. It’s the “Big Picture.”

The D-60 Chart (Shashtiamsa) is like a super-powered microscope. It looks at a tiny, tiny sliver of your D-1 map—specifically, it divides one slice of the sky into 60 even smaller pieces!

• The Rule: Usually, we go from D-1 (the Big Map) to D-60 (the Microscope).
• The Catch: If you only have the D-60, it’s very hard to perfectly “rebuild” the D-1. Why? Because the D-60 is so zoomed in that a planet could be in one spot in D-60, but it could have come from several different spots in D-1.

2. The Pizza Analogy 🍕

The D-1 (The Whole Pizza)

Imagine you have a giant pizza cut into 12 big slices. This is your D-1 chart. Each slice represents a part of your life: one slice is your toys, one is your school, one is your health, and so on.

The D-60 (The Tiny Crumb)

Now, imagine you take just one of those big slices and chop it into 60 tiny, microscopic bites. The D-60 is like looking at one of those tiny bites through a magnifying glass to see exactly what’s in it (like a tiny seed of oregano or a speck of cheese).

Why can’t we “un-bake” the pizza

If I show you a tiny, microscopic photo of one piece of pepperoni (the D-60), you can tell me:

• “Hey, that’s pepperoni!”
• “It looks spicy!”
• “It’s high quality!”

But… you can’t tell me:

1. Which of the 12 big slices that pepperoni came from?
2. How big was the whole pizza?
3. If there were pineapples on the other side of the pizza.

The Mathematics of Infinity 🔢

When every sign is divided into 60 parts, 12 Zodiac signs are repeated 5 times in every sign, which means there are 5 times 12 = 60 possibilities of having Aries as D1. Looking at Aries D-60, we cannot say it is coming from which Aries portion of D-1.

If we consider 7 planets, every planet can have 60 possible positions in D-1 from where it can come from.

Or in other words, there are 

60* 60* 60*60*60* 60* 60 = 420,000,000 possibilities!!!

Thus, if we consider the D-1 chart of this birth as a base and try to create a 60th multiple to predict future life, there are an astronomical number of possibilities. Which planetary combination you can be born with in the next birth is impossible to predict.

The cycle of 60 or a Samvatsar Chakra is an important concept to understand. In a lifetime, a person can at most see 2 Samvatsar Chakra or 60-year cycles. Thus, 60 year cycle tell in us which part of the bigger cycle your soul is moving.  We will see in the next article, how Jaimini and Tajik Astrology try to use these 60 years cycles for prediction and Parashari includes Samvatsar Chakra in the Vimshotri Dasha system to make predictions

• M-60- (Hypothetical)– Converting the D1 chart of this birth into a multiplier of 60 to project the next birth
• The Challenge: Moving from a micro-slice (D-60) to a macro-map (D-1) leads to over 420 million different planetary combinations.
• Conclusion: While D-60 helps us understand where we came from, “reverse engineering” it to predict the exact layout of the next birth is mathematically impossible.
